Swedish Baltic Rivers Waterkeeper
Thomas is chairman of Östersjölaxälvar i samverkan and the Baltic Sea Salmon Foundation. And since 2015 has been the first Swedish Baltic Rivers Waterkeeper. Thomas has worked for over 25 years with fisheries conservation and management issues. He is one of the zealots who has purposefully contributed to re-establishing wild stocks of salmon and trout in the Kågeälven again. As a scientist, Thomas's work has included fisheries control, electro fishing, and implementation and management of fish counters. Since 2011, Thomas has been working as an advocate for strong salmon and sea trout stocks in all Baltic Rivers in Sweden, informing politicians and media.
