Shameika Collins serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Waterkeeper Alliance, a role she assumed in January 2025. Shameika is responsible for executing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to advance Waterkeeper Alliance's mission of protecting the right to clean water.
Shameika’s earliest water memory comes from visiting her father’s home country of Trinidad and Tobago, where she was captivated by the clearest blue waters she had ever seen. This experience sparked a deep appreciation for the natural world and fueled her interest in environmental work, especially as climate change and water pollution have become more pressing issues.
Prior to joining Waterkeeper Alliance, Shameika worked on optimizing digital marketing campaigns, where she honed her skills in driving engagement to achieve impactful results.
Shameika earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management with a minor in Sociology from Baruch College. She loves to travel across seas, exploring new cultures, learning new languages, and embracing opportunities to connect with people and environments around the world.
