William B. Wachtel
Mr. Wachtel was the legislative assistant to United States Senator Patrick J. Leahy from 1974-1975. Mr. Wachtel is the founding partner of Wachtel Missry LLP, a law firm comprised of approximately thirty five attorneys specializing in domestic and international business transactions and litigations and its predecessor firm, Gold & Wachtel. He is the founder of The Drum Major Institute, a progressive policy think-tank, and co-founder with Ambassador Andrew Young of WhyTuesday?, a non-profit dedicated to increasing voter turnout. Mr. Wachtel is a director and Chairman of the Board of FirstFlight, Inc. FirstFlight, Inc, is in the FBO business. Mr. Wachtel is the Chairman of BillyBey Ferry Company. BillyBey Ferry Company is in the commuter ferry business. He is the Inspector General of Hudson Yards. He is the President of Karsan, USA, which participated in the Taxi of Tomorrow competition in NYC.
