Jill Spisiak Jedlicka
Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper
Jill Jedlicka has been with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper since 2003, and served as the Executive Director since 2012. Throughout Jill’s career, she helped secure and implement over $100 million in investments towards local initiatives throughout Western New York that have contributed to the region’s waterfront and economic resurgence. Under her leadership, the organization was awarded the North American Riverprize, an international competition for excellence in watershed and river system management.
Jill earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Master’s in Business Administration, both from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was appointed by Governor Andrew Cuomo to the New York State Great Lakes Basin Advisory Council in 2013, and serves as a director to the Great Lakes Protection Fund. She is a Western New York native, and along with her husband and two children, is dedicated to protecting and exploring the region’s natural resources.
