Dan Gerard

Dan Gerard is a committed leader with a wide-range of experience in the legal, economic, and finance fields.  He is passionately dedicated to the fight for clean water for all people.  As a retired partner from the global law firm Sidley Austin, Dan has more than 35 years of legal experience in addition to the energy and ability to focus on water-related issues in the non-profit sector. He received a B.A. in economics from Harvard University and graduated with a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1986.  Dan joined the President's Council in 2023 and is dedicated to the long-term values of Waterkeeper Alliance.
