Bill Malarkey
Bill Malarkey is the Managing Partner for the North America region with Amane Advisors, the premier global consultancy and advisory firm focused on the water industry and the circular economy.
He is based in Philadelphia and advises companies and investors in a variety of segments across the water sector. Prior to joining Amane, Bill served in senior corporate development and strategy roles with Severn Trent, American Water, Thames Water, and RWE. He also led the “Water & Industrials” investment banking practice at the boutique firm of Boenning & Scattergood, Inc.
Bill has served as an Advisory Board Member of the Urban Water Council of the US Conference of Mayors, and as Vice Chairman of the Water Institute of the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships. He currently serves on the board of Ocean Exchange, a nonprofit organization that promotes the advancement of the Blue Economy through sustainable and innovative solutions.
Bill earned both a Bachelor of Science in International Politics and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, and an LL.M. (International Law) from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg, Germany, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. He also served twelve years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Military Intelligence officer from 1986-1998, reaching the rank of Captain.
