Yunli Wu fell in love with nature through documentaries she watched during her childhood. She expressed her interest in becoming an environmentalist early on during an oral English practice class in high school. In 2006, Yunli joined Green Stone Environmental Protection Center as a project official. She now administrates the Industrial Pollution Prevention Program, where she trains volunteers to conduct research on pollution, submits investigation reports to government, and monitors around 200 industrial companies to start a pollution reform. Yunli is dedicated to clean water and wants to provide youth the opportunity to enjoy nature like she did.
