Grand Bahama is the fourth largest island in The Bahamas, with vast stretching beaches, extensive cave systems, and precious wetlands. The main city of Freeport is a highly valued tourist destination and home to the second largest oil bunkering facility in the western hemisphere. Oil spills, dredging, and now mining for aragonite threaten the marine environment around Grand Bahama.
