With a summer-long Instagram contest, the time is now to help Waterkeeper Alliance Save our Water and drink delicious beer! When you post using the hashtag #saveourwaterWKA and tag @SweetWaterBrew, Waterkeeper Alliance is entered to win our own unique SweetWater collaboration beer.
Waterkeeper Alliance is proud to work with SweetWater Brewing Company during their annual Save Our Water (SOW) campaign. They’re a conservation-minded brewery that has been dedicated to helping us fight for clean waterways for over a decade. In 2011, they created the Waterkeeper Hefeweizen in our honor – a beer perfect for hot summer days when all one wants to do is float down a river, jump in a lake or take a dive in the ocean.
This year, SweetWater has something special up their sleeve. They’ve partnered with five awesome organizations dedicated to clean water – Waterkeeper Alliance, Ducks Unlimited, Building Conservation Trust, Surfrider, and Trout Unlimited – and are donating $100,000 to the cause. But it doesn’t stop there… They’re giving one of the five organizations a chance to design a brand new beer next summer!
In the spirit of friendly and fun competition, SweetWater has asked us to rally our amazing advocates to support our cause in a summer-long Instagram contest. June 1st through August 31st, help us win the opportunity to brew and co-brand this exciting new SweetWater Dank Tank beer. And it gets even better. SweetWater will donate $1 per case equivalent sold of this limited edition brew back to Waterkeeper Alliance’s goal of drinkable, fishable, swimmable waterways worldwide.
How it works: Post a picture of you enjoying the water or cooling down with a SweetWater brew to Instagram using the hashtag #saveourwaterWKA and tag @SweetWaterBrew. Each post with the tag and hashtag gives Waterkeeper Alliance a “vote,” and the organization with the most votes wins!
There are no limits to how many votes you can cast so keep posting all summer long to support clean waterways around the world. Come Summer 2018 Waterkeeper Alliance supporters can drink the brew proudly and continue to support a fantastic partnership and cause!
