I have practiced environmental law in Oklahoma for over 30 years. During this time Mr. Pruitt has, with regard to environmental issues, done more than any other Oklahoma Attorney General to protect the polluter, and has done the least of any other Oklahoma Attorney General to protect the “common man” or people of the State from the hazards of pollution.

Two examples come immediately to mind that illustrate my point. First, I am very familiar with the cases against Halliburton for groundwater pollution in Duncan, Oklahoma, and the groundwater case against Rockwell and Gulfstream in Bethany, Oklahoma. Both of these cases involve pollution of drinking water with toxic pollutants, but General Pruitt has done nothing to assist the people of Duncan or Bethany to get relief from these hazards. Second, his 2013 agreement with the State of Arkansas concerning water quality in the Illinois River Watershed put the interests of polluters in Arkansas, including large poultry companies, above the interests of Oklahomans living downstream that use this water for drinking and recreation.

David P. Page is an environmental attorney from Tulsa, Oklahoma. His practice, since 1985, has involved all aspects of environmental law and litigation. He has represented clients in many States, and handled matters for clients before the U.S. EPA in Regions I, II, IV, VI, VII and IX. During his 35 years of practice he has appeared as counsel before environmental state agencies and in federal and state courts in more than 20 states. http://leachsullivanlimited.lawoffice.com/About/David-P Page.shtml
