Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator – Tualatin Riverkeepers

Tualatin, OR – Tualatin Riverkeepers is seeking a dynamic and outgoing Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator to strengthen existing partnerships, develop new partnerships, and recruit volunteers with a passion for the work of TRK. This position will focus on connecting community stewardship needs with TRK’s mission and goals to create positive outcomes for the watershed. The Coordinator will recruit and train volunteers while organizing TRK’s key events over the year, including stewardship projects, Discovery Day, and the Green Heron fundraiser. The position will work closely with the River Experiences Program Coordinator and report to the TRK Executive Director.

Tualatin Riverkeepers is a community-based organization that protects and restores Oregon’s Tualatin River watershed. We build watershed stewardship through engagement, advocacy, restoration, access, and education. Like all Tualatin Riverkeepers staff, the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator serves as a Tualatin Riverkeepers ambassador, helping community members to access, learn about, and love the river. Successful candidates will be able to articulate and demonstrate their qualifications, through formal work or lived experience.
