Hudson Riverkeeper is looking for a talented and self-motivated Human Resources & Operations Manager to develop and implement strategic people programs that complement organizational objectives, while shaping Riverkeeper’s evolving culture in partnership with the leadership team and stakeholders across the organization.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Financial & Operations Officer, this role participates in all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee engagement and relations, performance management, training and development, payroll and benefits administration, policy development, legal compliance as well as overseeing the integrity of the HRIS system and electronic employee files. Additionally, the HR and Operations Manager will be a champion of Riverkeeper’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) by working closely with the DEIJ Committee and its subcommittees on the implementation of our DEIJ goals and objectives. The role will also help to manage general office operations and will provide support to the finance function on the team.
