Are you passionate about protecting the environment and fostering community engagement? Do you have the leadership skills to drive impactful change? Russian Riverkeeper (RRK) is looking for a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in ensuring continued growth, broader outreach of the community and donors, and greater capacity to take on new projects and issues.

About Us: Russian Riverkeeper (RRK) is celebrating 31 years of dedicated advocacy, protection, and restoration of the Russian River and its watershed. Our mission is to protect and restore our watershed environment for the benefit of current and future generations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the organization to fulfill its mission and goals.
  • Support the Board of Directors in governance and strategic planning 
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies
  • Oversee staff to ensure strategic plan and project goals are successfully implemented
  • Enhance RRK’s public image and community outreach.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in environmental or non-profit sectors.
  • Successful track record in fundraising and donor relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial management experience.
  • Commitment to environmental protection and community involvement.
