Richard Reeve
Institutional Giving Officer
6/21/22
Having spent over 25 years in nonprofit development, Richard Reeve has contributed to three sectors: education, the arts, and conservation. In conservation he was privileged to work with the teams at Panthera and Wildlandscapes International, securing significant funding to achieve the mission of each organization to support the health of global biodiversity and secure vast protected areas. Richard's focus working with foundations, corporations, and governments at Waterkeeper Alliance draws on his strength to honor both the transactional and relational aspects of fundraising.
Living along a mountain stream that feeds into the Upper Delaware Watershed in the Catskill Mountains, Richard identifies deeply with the mission of Waterkeeper Alliance. Along with rewilding the property he and his family are fortunate to be caretakers of, Richard enjoys hiking, birding, gardening, and cooking. Each spring he anticipates with enthusiasm the experience of the aviary nursery that surrounds his home as multiple species nest and raise their young, accompanied with a clamor of birdsong that awakens him each morning.
