Emily Bowes
Conservation Director, Rogue Riverkeeper
Emily Bowes moved to the Rogue Valley as a teenager and loved the rivers and forests so much she worked as an intern for K.S. Wild her senior year of high school. During that time she helped with the Save the Wild Rogue Campaign, led by Rogue Riverkeeper founder, Lesley Adams. She continued her education at Humboldt State University where she received a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis on plant ecology. Before returning to K.S. Wild as the Rogue Riverkeeper Conservation Director, Emily spent most of her career contributing to sustainable natural resources management and enforcing environmental compliance policies in Northern California and Southern Oregon. She is very excited to continue these efforts in support of the Rogue River Watershed.
