Human Resources Manager – Waterkeeper Alliance

The Human Resources Manager (HR Manager) oversees the organization’s human resources functions to ensure best practices, a safe and high-quality work environment, and excellence and accountability. This position maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. The HR Manager further develops policies and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. The position also, among other things, collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc. to help make recommendations for improvement.

Waterkeeper Alliance is a global environmental movement uniting more than 300 Waterkeeper Organizations and Affiliates around the world and focusing citizen action on the issues that affect our waterways, from pollution to climate change. Waterkeepers patrol more than 2.5 million square miles of rivers, streams, and coastlines in the Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
