Our watershed is the Santa Ana River Watershed. It encompasses approximately 3,200 square miles from the mountains to the sea. Five and a half million people reside in the watershed. The Orange County Coastkeeper serves the lower watershed and the Inland Empire Waterkeeper (a program of OCCK) serves the upper watershed.
Garry founded Coastkeeper in 1999 and serves as the organization's Executive Director and Board President. Garry is a native of Orange County and comes from a long background of building public-private partnerships. He served for five years as an assistant city manager for the City of Redlands, ten years as an advocate and executive director for trade associations in the real estate and building industries, and served two terms as president of a chamber of commerce. Garry holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Redlands.
