Lesley Adams

Lesley Adams became the Western Regional Coordinator at the Waterkeeper Alliance in October 2012.

She has more than a decade’s experience mobilizing communities, coordinating campaigns and advocating for the natural world. After working with the Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center (KS Wild) in southwest Oregon for six years as their Outreach Director, she founded Rogue Riverkeeper as a program of KS Wild.

In her three years as Rogue Riverkeeper, she built a strong program with an effective voice for clean water in municipal, county, state and federal decisions that impacted the waterways of the salmon-rich Rogue Basin. She has sat on the Board of Directors of the MRG Foundation, Lomakatsi Restoration Project and the Global Justice Ecology Project. After two years at U.C. Santa Cruz, she earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Biology from Southern Oregon University in 2002.
