California Coastkeeper Alliance (CCKA) serves as a statewide voice for Waterkeeper organizations to advocate for swimmable, fishable, and drinkable waters. CCKA and Waterkeepers work together to develop, implement, and defend policies that meet the needs of California’s communities and ecosystems. CCKA advances local Waterkeepers’ water and oceans priorities using law, policy, science, partnerships, and creative communications to influence Sacramento decision-makers.
CCKA seeks an organized, dynamic Program Coordinator to support and coordinate CCKA programs and operations and its member Waterkeepers. The Program Coordinator will support the ongoing implementation of programs and partnerships that strengthen coastal, ocean, and water laws, policies, and investments. The Program Coordinator will track, coordinate, and support the work of CCKA staff as well as local Waterkeepers to ensure that joint work is integrated and effective. The position is based in the Bay Area or Sacramento and reports to the Executive Director.
